Job Description


The Sales Incentive Analyst will be responsible for understanding and providing insights on incentive plan performance to ensure incentive plans result in desired overall sales performance and drive the right behaviors. You will develop KPI and key risk indicators (KRI) to analyze and assess the effectiveness of Sales incentive plans. You will use a combination of analytics, project management, and operational excellence to work with leaders across the organization to promote effective risk management.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years Sales Ops/Sales Incentive experience
  • Experience with automated commission SPM system (Callidus, etc.)
  • 3+ years complex incentive/financial modeling experience
  • Strong understanding with creating and maintaining analysis in data visualization tools (i.e - Excel, Google Sheets, etc. Qlik and Tableau a plus)
  • Experience in risk and compliance management
  • Must demonstrate high level of professional skepticism
  • BS Degree required

How you will lead

  • Provide insightful and useful Sales incentive analytics to deliver continuous improvement in incentive plan effectiveness
  • Support Sales teams in proactively identifying potential sales incentive opportunities to drive efficiency and best practice
  • Develop and monitor Sales incentive KRI to proactively respond to, mitigate, and promote effective incentive risk management
  • Analyze and assess incentive plan design and crediting rules using KPIs and KRIs that identify potential threats and mitigate identified risk
  • Provide assessment of existing risk management mechanisms (policy/procedures, governance, reporting) to ensure compliance through communications and analytics support
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Sales incentive processes and work with the Sales Operations team to ensure documentation is update to date
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales teams and other various functions – Compliance, HR, Total Rewards
  • Manage communications of all incentive plans and policies
