Position Purpose and Objectives
This position is responsible for the sales consultation process experienced by new Leads generated by Fairlease and leads generated internally by CUTX and its member base. This entails locating and negotiating pricing on new & used vehicles, negotiating trade-ins and handling of all documentation pertaining to the close of a sale. This position will require the ability to generate, maintain and continually grow a pipeline of business necessary to achieve a level of success, outside of the leads provided by Fairlease. Strong follow-up and sales communication skills are required.

Major Duties and Essential Functions

  • Identify and engage potential clients inquiring about our Leasing Services
  • Qualify these clients through our discovery and underwriting process with proper consultation and direction for their needs
  • Assist in valuing trade-ins and verifying liens and payoff information on vehicles involved in the new lease transaction.
  • Maintain contact and engage future terminating or expiring lease accounts associated with your book of business.
  • Establish and consistently maintain a positive working relationship with Dealer network contacts.
  • Review prior call details and correspondence with clients for proper follow-up and communication to consumer to help maintain forward progress
  • Work directly with Sales manager to ensure proper execution of business and workflow process
  • Responsible for all documentation required on a new lease transaction, including Purchase Orders, trade Valuations, payoffs and credit forms.

Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position:
MUST have experience with Microsoft Office/Windows Software, knowledge of Auto Leasing Industry plus excellent phone, communication and writing skills.

Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task are paramount for success
Ability to work individually but also excel in a team environment
Strong verbal communication and computer skills mandatory

Education: High School Degree or G.E.D and/or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years Automotive Industry Banking experience.

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
