Responsibilities: Sales, Business Development

Duration: Direct Hire/Full-time


SecureITsource is a professional services and consulting firm that is focused on Identity & Access Management. We are seeking a hungry and driven sales representative who is looking for opportunities to grow personally and professionally. Candidates will have a track record of successful sales and business development experience, preferably in the IT sector. The position will focus on generating new opportunities in the South Central region of the United States. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the ability to conduct solution-based selling.

Role Overview

The position will require creative lead generation and opportunity development to engage new customers that align with our practice consultancies.

  • Use our databases and information sources to find appropriate contacts and contact information
  • Develop prospect lists
  • Work collaboratively with marketing to generate email blasts
  • Initiate solution oriented conversations with potential prospects
  • Conduct appropriate sales follow up to keep prospects warm
  • Learn, understand, and clearly articulate the value proposition of our firm
  • Utilize our pre-sales team in a productive manner to build customer interest in our IAM consulting expertise

Role Accountability

  • Achieve/exceed quarterly quotas (activity, sales, new customers)
  • Generate future quantifiable pipeline
  • Establish and maintain relationships
  • Learn through virtual training content and become fluent in understanding and communicating our market value
  • Effectively utilize tools such as CRM, lead databases, and our marketing tools to build the business
  • Develop solid written client communications and verbally articulate our business value
  • Expand the region and develop the market


  • Bachelors’ Degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent with 2+ years successful experience in inside or outside sales
  • Strong computer skills including CRM and common desktop applications
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Self-directed and achieves goals without a lot of supervision
  • Understands and manages campaigns to develop new leads
  • Good knowledge of IT and, preferably, cyber-security
  • Track-record of success
  • Hungry, motivated, and success-oriented
