Account Manager - Embedded Team

The Account Manager for our Embedded Team is responsible for new business development within an assigned territory and sustaining/expanding existing accounts to achieve maximum profitable sales volume.
-Target prospective customers and strengthen existing business relationships. Build strategic alliances with key customers.
-Function as a consultative salesperson; accurately convey the organizations products and services to prospective clients as strategic solutions to improve their business operations while increasing sales.
-Analyze and understand the customer’s business strategy, future product plans and expansion activities and strategically align Transcend product roadmap where mutually beneficial.
-Work cross functionally with marketing, technical support and other departments to provide customer service, including BOM development, customization of exclusive products, supply chain/logistics, service support, and reverse logistics (RMA).
-Have firm understanding of Transcends product portfolio and the competitive posture of the company; keep up-to-date with industry knowledge and price trend.
-Participate in industry trade shows.
-Manage P&L (profit & loss) and key financial metrics (AR).
-30% travel required to existing and potential customers with on-site client visits.
-BA/BS from an accredited college/university.
-Minimum of 2-3 years of sales/customer service/marketing/business development experience preferred.
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team in a dynamic technical sales environment.
-Solid prospecting and cold calling abilities and excellent customer relationship skills, proactive at following up with prospective customers.
-Ability to deliver compelling technical presentation about Transcends products.
-Excellent PC skills. Fluency in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
