Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for building new and managing client relationships, executing programs with large budgets, and achieving revenue and gross margin goals. The custom team focuses on project-specific orders and works with multiple customers across different departments with various delivery dates. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a book of business and taking lead on all key client requests. The Senior Account Manager reports to the Business Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Point-of-contact between client and 81Eighty team, delivering a high level of
customer service to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction
  • Lead client facing calls and in-person meetings, traveling as needed
  • Manages, maintains and grows custom project requests from assigned accounts
  • Provide direction and lead collaborative strategy with sourcing specialist and
production coordinator on product offerings and client requests
  • Ability to source and quote projects to meet the clients’ requirements
  • Manages multiple projects at one time with various internal and external
requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of projects from initial request to delivery
of products with 81Eighty team
  • Achieves annual or project-based revenue goals while hitting profit margins
  • Tracks routine sales reporting for clients and custom business
  • Seeks new opportunities within current client base to grow their custom spend
  • Responsible for a new business sales goal driving business in the custom pillar
  • Analyze goals, reporting and gap analysis on a monthly, quarterly and yearly
basis
  • Budget planning and tracking with Account Managers for dedicated accounts
  • Ability to present custom business in any 81Eighty meeting necessary
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver able to manage assigned accounts as the
business owner

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of account management experience
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain high-value client relationships:
Demonstrated success in managing and growing strategic accounts, including
negotiating high-stakes contracts and managing key client expectations.
  • Expertise in strategic problem-solving and advanced critical thinking: Ability to
develop and implement complex strategies that align with both client needs and
business objectives, leveraging deep industry knowledge and market insights
and outside the box sourcing.
  • Advanced project management skills: Proven track record in leading large-scale
projects or multi-faceted initiatives, with the ability to balance competing priorities
and ensure timely delivery.
  • Exceptional presentation and sales acumen: Skilled in crafting and delivering
persuasive presentations that drive client decision-making and achieve significant
sales growth, including experience with high-level negotiations.
  • Advanced communication and organizational skills: Mastery in conveying
complex ideas clearly and effectively across various stakeholders, coupled with
superior organizational skills to manage high volumes of information and tasks.
  • Leadership and mentorship abilities: Experience in leading and mentoring
account managers or team members, with a focus on fostering professional
development and driving team performance.
  • Strategic vision and innovation: Proven ability to anticipate market trends and
client needs, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and
strategies that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding performance metrics: Demonstrates
success in meeting or surpassing key performance indicators and revenue
targets, with a history of contributing to the overall success and profitability of
the organization.
  • Positive and driven team player with a can-do attitude: Comes to work each
day with a positive mindset, working to assist others when they are feeling
overwhelmed, and keeping the team on track for success.
  • The job location will be in Frisco, TX
  • Hybrid working environment
