Overview of the Role:
As the Sales Manager, you'll lead sales expansion and manage a top-performing team. You'll execute the company's sales strategy, work with the business development team to find new markets and growth opportunities, and align sales efforts with the company's broader expansion goals to meet both immediate targets and long-term objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Mentor: Guide, mentor, and develop the sales team, establishing clear performance goals and providing ongoing coaching.
- Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies targeting key markets such as end-users, airlines, and MROs, aligning them with the company’s broader business development objectives.
- Collaborate for Growth: Work closely with the business development team to identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, driving strategic partnerships and market entry efforts.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Execute plans that drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and contribute to overall company profitability, making informed decisions based on sales data.
- Conduct Market Research: Perform thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities, collaborating with the business development team for targeted expansion initiatives.
- Negotiate Deals: Lead negotiations on high-value deals, aligning terms with company goals for profitability and sustainability.
- Provide Sales Reports: Deliver regular, detailed reports to senior management on team performance, sales forecasts, market trends, and growth opportunities, refining the sales approach as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including business development, marketing, and operations, to ensure a cohesive strategy supporting both sales and overall company growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the sales and marketing industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
