Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and visionary Business Development Manager with a strong leadership mindset and a hunter mentality—always on the lookout for opportunities to enhance our customers' packaging solutions. You will be a creative problem-solver who excels at building relationships, understanding customer needs, and effectively communicating those opportunities to our team to develop tailored solutions.

As a key member of our Vancouver team, you will collaborate closely with the Vice President to achieve the company’s strategic goals and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly visit new and existing customers, building and nurturing strong relationships.
  • Prospect and develop new customer leads to expand our client base.
  • Understand customer needs and packaging challenges, collaborating with internal teams to create tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research and share insights on innovative packaging solutions with customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates in response to customer requests.
  • Oversee the implementation of new packaging conversions, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Address customer concerns by investigating issues, identifying solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Manage and coordinate marketing information, executing marketing strategies to drive growth.
  • Represent Trupack at industry events, including exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Keep management updated by submitting regular activity and results reports.
  • Provide support for sourcing and logistics functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Eager to learn / Willingness to lead
  • Flexibility in working hours to fit with production schedules
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Troubleshooting
  • Valid driver’s license

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese will be an asset
  • Experience in the food industry will be an added benefit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Bonus pay

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:
