Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for adoption, optimization, and continued evolution of installed Client Pyxis solutions within customer's current environment
  • Ability to represent Client Medication Management suite over time (incl. Client Alaris solutions)
  • Engage directly with assigned customer(s) to understand current state business objectives, operational processes, and workflow as well as current system configuration
  • Inventory current pain points and opportunities for further adoption and optimization, build and maintain executable plan to address these areas of opportunity and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills to achieve continuous improvement objectives
  • Ensure effective, timely and quality upgrades of installed Pyxis solutions
  • Provide best practice recommendations, assist in solving challenges, partner to ensure effective use of the application/s, and monitor specific outcome metrics to measure the success of adoption, ensure achievement of organizational KPI's and identify opportunities for clinical improvement
  • Collaborate with internal (Client) and external (customer) resources to drive a one account team approach and ensure seamless, timely and clear communication across the teams
  • Represent voice of the customer internally (Client) with respect to enhancements and future road mapping opportunities
  • Provide ongoing consultation through in-person meetings, webinars, remote sessions and other forms of communication that will aid in adoption, overall satisfaction, loyalty, and success with Pyxis technologies
  • Coordination and support of Pyxis data, reporting, and quality review
  • Maintain Pyxis medication systems to include both hardware and software
  • Conduct reviews of automation inventory and utilization
  • Collaborates and engages with customer account team and all internal (Client) functions in support of the overall organizational strategy and plan
  • Serve as key escalation point and point of resolution for outstanding priority problems and issues
  • Participate in implementation activities on ad hoc basis to keep skills and knowledge current
  • Overall, the position requires strong consultative skills, knowledge of clinical and/or IT operations, knowledge of Pyxis solutions, analytical ability to identify and translate trends, change management, project management and exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of clinical, pharmacy and/or IT operations
  • Client Pyxis product knowledge 1 or more (Pyxis Medstation, Pyxis CII Safe, Pyxis Logistics, Pyxis IV Prep, Client HealthSight) and Client Pyxis domain expertise
  • Displays Pharmacy Informatics Expertise
  • Client Alaris knowledge a plus
  • Demonstrated consultative skills in achieving outcomes
  • Exceptional professional skills; presentation, verbal, written at all levels of the organization
  • Project Management, Account Management and Leadership capabilities
  • Data analysis, informatics skills
  • Critical thinking, problem solving
  • Exhibits competency in Microsoft Office Professional tools, Virtual and Live Presentations
  • Pharmacy, Pharmacy Informatics preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree and clinical experience preferred
  • 5 years related experience
  • Ability to travel at least 60-75% of the time.
  • Location: New Orleans, Louisiana preferred or willingness to travel regularly to this location
