Lead programs by achieving alignment on program scope, release planning, as well as aligning one or more teams on vision, business goals, creating program structure, and securing cross-functional alignment.
Drive teams through the Software engineering experience using Agile and demonstrated analytical and technical skills.
Drive Steering Committee meetings with key stakeholders for each program to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues. Be the key driver to ensure business goals are met and drive the strategic vision of each program.
Develop strong partnerships with key functional stakeholders to drive focus on business goals. Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.
Partner with cross-functional teammates to drive workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, milestones, etc. (cross functional - Product Owners, Scrum Masters, TechOps, Release Eng, Capacity, Functional Managers, Release Management).
Provide visibility to program status (issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through push status reporting (to all stakeholders, team members, and interested parties).
Manage "program/feature" dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and stakeholders.
Anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews (deep dive into current state of project goals, risks, escalations).
Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning.
Be a catalyst within the organization, someone who can help advance our Product & Technology strategy globally and drive others in the organization to change.
6-10 years (Senior TPM)/10-15+ years (Director)/12+ years (Senior Director) of experience leading large scale, enterprise product programs.
6+ years of solution management experience for software or SaaS experience.
3+ years of successfully implementing and managing SaaS product development programs; strong knowledge of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike.
Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
Experience with Portfolio Management.
Ability to master technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program.
Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.
Ability to work well as a member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
Ability to successfully partner with all functions across the entire company.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, Tableau CRM
The Senior Manager of Technical Program Management for Tableau CRM will be driving and own technical program management across Tableau CRM product and engineering functions, and their collaborations/partnerships with other organizations within Salesforce. This person will partner with our leadership team to drive strategy, in addition to helping to plan, organize, and work with teams to help execute the vision for our key initiatives. Primary focus will be working with our AI teams across the Tableau CRM and Data Platform teams. The SM/Director will also represent the Tableau CRM team's release plan, priorities, and business requirements to groups throughout the organization. Additionally, they will be instrumental for directly driving one of our key Analytics initiatives. This is an individual contributor role.
Director, Technical Program Management, CRM Infrastructure
The Director of Technical Program Management for CRM Infrastructure will lead a multi-year effort to increase the scale of our CRM Infrastructure to support our largest customers in the Public Cloud. The TPM will partner with engineering leaders and key architects to enhance our CRM Transactional Platform and support our largest B2C customers on Hyperforce. This uber program is in the early stages of architecture alignment and planning and this TPM will need to ensure progress in this fuzzy front end and then drive the execution through a series of major milestones. The TPM will work with executives and architects to define the program and will work with engineering leaders and their managers to plan and deliver the work. There is the possibility to up-level this role to a senior director level. This is an individual contributor role.
Senior Director, Technical Program Management, Unified Intelligence Platform
The Senior Director of Technical Program Manager for Unified Intelligence Platform will drive planning and execution of engineering to evolve the platform to realize entirely new categories of use cases, incorporate new technologies into the platform offering, extend the platform to multiple diverse new public cloud substrates, and raise the platform’s data management maturity. Strong candidates will bring 10+ years of program management experience including release planning and agile methodologies spanning multiple scrum teams, deep technical expertise in big data technology and enterprise-scale service delivery spaces, and executive communication/presentation skills. This is an individual contributor role.
Director, Technical Program Management, Platform Standards
The Director of Technical Program Management of Platform Standards will be responsible for leading large -scale strategic technology programs at Salesforce focused on application security and access control. This person will partner with our senior leadership team to drive cross-functional planning and execution for these initiatives across multiple clouds, as well as work closely with functional teams to deliver key business value. Strong candidates will have excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization from individual engineers to senior executives as well as proven track record leading large highly complex projects. This is an individual contributor role.
Director, Technical Program Management, Availability Cloud Engineering (ACE)
The Director of Technical Program Management for Availability Cloud Engineering (ACE) will own and drive cross cloud strategic initiatives for Availability Cloud Engineering (ACE)'s four clouds: Monitoring, Availability Insights and Reporting (AIR), Management Tools, and Customer Analytics and Trust (CAT). You will partner with Product, Engineering and our internal partners/customers on program execution and will help to plan, organize, and work with functional teams to deliver business value. In addition, the role will partner closely with the lead TPM in cloud operational & release planning processes. Strong candidates will bring experience including release planning and Agile methodologies spanning multiple scrum teams, deep technical expertise in monitoring & availability technology and enterprise-scale service delivery spaces, as well as executive communication/presentation skills. This is an individual contributor role.
Director, Technical Program Management, Site Reliability
The Director of Technical Program Management for Site Reliability will organize delivery of strategic engineering programs, enabling high availability across all Salesforce products. You will help drive customer success by partnering with Engineering organizations to ensure successful, end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs across a multi-year roadmap. You will partner with leadership stakeholders to drive program strategy, and you will help to plan, organize, and work with functional teams to deliver business value. You will develop and manage complex program plans while managing scope and risks of delivery. This is an individual contributor role. The Director will build and drive the governance, workstreams, cultural transformation, and operational backbone of our Site Reliability muscle.
