JOB SUMMARY*
Add value to the company by planning, implementing, and growing online sales. Accountable for developing and maintaining productive working relationships with buying, marketing, sales, and operations within Aggieland Outfitters. The position is responsible for the day-to-day activity on the site, marketing and its overall performance to achieve goals such as improving user experience, increasing website traffic and sales, and developing brand loyalty. Additional responsibilities include managing customer service and shipping staff and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES*

  • Serve as a member of the Leadership team, in accordance with our core values.
  • Perform all regular duties associated with the Director position in a professional manner, and serve as an example of leadership and work ethic within the department and the company.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world
  • Research the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize sales.
  • Oversee the entire e-commerce division and online marketing team.
  • Develop an online business strategy in collaboration with Buying, Marketing, independent marketing consultants and Creative teams to increase ecommerce sales.
  • Track web analytics, search engine ranking, customer feedback, advertising campaign results and branding to ensure a consistent brand image in order to meet sales targets.
  • Develop a department-wide online marketing strategy
  • Identify and analyze opportunities for sales growth, such as increasing website traffic, strengthening brand awareness, and improving online reputation and other online revenue channels
  • Responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. They will liaise with the Web designers to develop and alter the website as needed.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to aid in decision-making
  • Demonstrate winning Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail required.

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, at minimum current enrollment in a relevant graduate or undergraduate degree program required.
  • Must have an understanding of Texas A&M University traditions, customs, and norms.

  • A background in sales is preferred
  • Some Adobe Photoshop, KWI POS, Klaviyo, and basic coding experience preferred but not required.

Requirements (What we look for in candidates): Must-haves: - 4-8 years of work experience in any customer-facing sales role. - Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills. - Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs. - Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies. - Prior exposure to tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, etc. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as end customers. - Learning mindset and the right attitude that will help you thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. - Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven. - Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively. - Flexibility in working in different shifts/regions. This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift for a minimum of two years. Good to have: - Prior work experience in SaaS product companies in domains relevant to Freshworks' suite of products. - A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets.
