Location – Work from home

Dorel’s Home Furnishings segment participates in the $120 billion North American furniture industry. Dorel ranks in the top three of North American furniture manufacturers and marketers. The Home Furnishings segment delivers quality product with its North American production facilities and its imported product lines.

The E-Commerce Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the day-to-day duties outlined below, as well as critically thinking of ways to optimize around existing and new business processes in a dynamic multi-channel eCommerce environment. This role will also be responsible for analyzing information and making informed suggestions to management and solving complex problems by way of a balanced approach of contemplation and the decisive action necessary to stay ahead in a competitive and fast-moving industry. A successful candidate will have demonstrated success in a quantitative and data driven, sales-centric role.

Job Description

  • Work closely with multiple retail partners to meet and exceed sales and profitability goals.
  • Seek out new partnerships with online retailers not currently being served by Dorel.
  • Conduct ongoing research to maintain an excellent knowledge of the major competitive product lines, including their features, benefits, and pricing, as well as their marketing and merchandising initiatives.
  • Identify, propose, and manage appropriate product listings, pricing strategies, sales programs, and promotional activities in order to fully optimize business results.
  • Establish and maintain a professional business relationship and rapport with all accounts.
  • Carefully research, assess, and analyze all potential e-commerce accounts to determine the distribution, sales revenue, and profit “gap” potential.
  • Contact and manage the required levels of management within the assigned active or inactive e-commerce accounts to schedule appointments and/or meetings to conduct capability presentations, present price- or solution-based business proposals, and negotiate product listings, volumes, promotions, pricing, terms, and conditions in order to achieve a satisfactory close of the sale.
  • Achieve and maintain a working knowledge of Dorel’s product line, services, marketing programs and strategies, product ordering, warehousing, and operations and logistics procedures, as well as any product return policies as they relate to the e-commerce channel.
  • Work effectively with and build productive rapport with Dorel’s internal marketing and cross-functional team members such as manufacturing, operations, supply chain, finance, accounting, customer service, and order entry.
  • Analyze data; interpret reports and information provided to identify new opportunities.
  • Forecast future sales and inventory demand in channel.

  • Strong analytical skills: proven track record of leveraging data to chart a course, influence others and drive change at multiple levels of an organization.

  • Critical to have solid quantitative skills required for pricing and market scenario analysis.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, self-motivated, creative problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail.

Description du poste

· Travailler en étroite collaboration avec de multiples partenaires détaillants pour atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de vente et de rentabilité.

· Rechercher de nouveaux partenariats avec des détaillants en ligne qui ne sont pas actuellement desservis par Dorel.

· Effectuer des recherches continues afin de maintenir une excellente connaissance des principales gammes de produits de la concurrence, y compris leurs caractéristiques, avantages et prix, ainsi que leurs initiatives de marketing et de marchandisage.

· Identifier, proposer et gérer les listes de produits, les stratégies de prix, les programmes de vente et les activités promotionnelles appropriées afin d'optimiser pleinement les résultats commerciaux.

· Établir et maintenir une relation professionnelle avec tous les comptes.

· Rechercher, évaluer et analyser avec soin tous les comptes potentiels de commerce électronique afin de déterminer le potentiel de distribution, de recettes de vente et d'écart de profit.

· Contacter et gérer les niveaux de gestion requis au sein des comptes de commerce électronique actifs ou inactifs assignés afin de fixer des rendez-vous et/ou des réunions pour effectuer des présentations des capacités, présenter des propositions commerciales basées sur les prix ou les solutions, et négocier les listes de produits, les volumes, les promotions, les prix, les termes et les conditions afin de conclure la vente de manière satisfaisante.

· Acquérir et maintenir une connaissance pratique de la gamme de produits, des services, des programmes et des stratégies de marketing de Dorel, des procédures de commande, d'entreposage, d'exploitation et de logistique des produits, ainsi que des politiques de retour des produits dans le cadre du canal de commerce électronique.

· Travailler efficacement et établir des rapports productifs avec les membres de l'équipe interne de marketing et des équipes inter départementales de Dorel, comme la fabrication, l'exploitation, la chaîne d'approvisionnement, les finances, la comptabilité, le service à la clientèle et la saisie des commandes.

· Analyser les données ; interpréter les rapports et les informations fournies pour identifier de nouvelles opportunités.

· Prévoir les ventes futures et la demande de stocks dans le canal.
