We are looking for a smart, talented, and experienced product marketing professional to develop product messaging and content for Salesforce Platform, the industry’s #1 Platform-as-a-Service. Product positioning and messaging - Develop a compelling narrative and value proposition for Platform.
Collaborate closely with the Trailhead, Admin Marketing, and Developer Marketing teams to ensure all teams working on the Salesforce Platform are aligned.
Work with the Sales organization to refine, test, and align on product messaging.
Run customer and prospect focus groups to test product messaging and gather feedback.
Align with the Platform Product Management teams and other product marketers to drive strategy around product positioning for existing products and new launches.
Drive the creation of event keynote presentations in collaboration with Product Management teams and product leadership.
Communicate effectively and often to ensure all stakeholders, especially our GM and Head of Marketing, are aligned.
Track the competitive landscape, understand target markets, and identify market insights to inform product strategies and go-to-market activities.
Create high quality content such as demos, webinars, videos, blogs and slides.
Collaborate with campaigns and distribution teams to support sales enablement, demand generation spanning events, campaigns, social media programs, references and case studies, and press and analyst relations.
High energy, charismatic, innovative, creative individual.
Equivalent of 5+ years of product marketing or similar experience.
Demonstrated experience creating product vision/direction via compelling positioning and messaging.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in business discussions.
Strong ability to influence and work cross-functionally.
Creative thinker that can generate innovative marketing ideas and drive execution.
Strong public-speaking and presentation skills.
Expertise with both Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote.
