Contacts segmented accounts to sell a variety of FedEx international services. Identifies opportunities for account growth and executes appropriate sales strategies. Develops supply chain solutions for customers and coordinates global implementation. Provides consultative support to other sales professionals on international selling issues.
Job Specific Information:
The role is responsible managing and selling a variety of FedEx International Services. The sales professional will identify opportunities for account growth, as well as, manage an existing book of business while executing appropriate sales strategies. Develops logistics & supply chain solutions for assigned customers and coordinates selling strategy/implementation, as necessary. This is a great opportunity to join USI Regional team, while enhancing business acumen (inclusive of International topics) and optimize our position within our USI regional customer base.
Abilities/Knowledge/Skills Considered a Plus:
Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain sales experience.
Demonstrate ability to achieve major account sales goals and to plan and execute sales strategies.
Candidates should possess strong selling skills to include an understanding of the FedEx International portfolio, and enjoy building highly collaborative internal and external relationships.
Three (3) years directly related commercial or industrial sales experience.
Demonstrated ability to achieve major account sales goals.
Strong human relations, communication and negotiation skills.
Overnight travel required.
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Detroit, Michigan.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
