Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in account management, technology sales, and business development. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively negotiate and foster customer relationships while utilizing tools like Salesforce to manage sales processes and market insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase room bookings, restaurant reservations, and event sales.
- Manage and grow corporate accounts, group sales, and event bookings.
- Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns that drive revenue and visibility.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and business partners.
- Monitor performance metrics and achieve sales targets, commission goals, and bonuses.
- Represent the hotel and restaurant at trade shows, networking events, and community engagements.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities and market insights to the leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of sales experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with hotel sales and reservation systems such as HMS, Delphi, and iHotelier (strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the local market and hospitality trends is a plus.
