The Investments business is one of the key drivers of revenues and profitability at AIG. Our Investments professionals are responsible for investing the insurance premiums and deposits we collect to generate net investment income that is available to pay claims or benefits and provide returns to shareholders. AIG Investments provides advisory and asset management solutions to AIG, its business units and third-party clients, globally, maintaining an internal investment platform across multiple asset classes. These asset classes include investment grade and high yield corporate debt, sovereign and emerging market debt, municipal debt, securitized products, residential and commercial mortgage loans, private placements, real estate, public equities and private equity. The Investment team is comprised of portfolio managers, traders, research analysts, product owners, loan originators and underwriters and other professionals endeavoring to provide strong returns on our clients’ invested capital. AIG First Principles is a part of American International Group (AIG), a global firm with significant presence in the global insurance and capital markets. AIG First Principles team members have lead innovations in the fixed income markets serving Public and Corporate Pensions, Endowments and Foundations, Financial Institutions, Investment Consultants, and Family Offices and Trusts.

The Sales Enablement Vice President's core focus is hand's on Salesforce Administration and will be responsible for providing professional expertise, support, and extraordinary customer service to Salesforce users at AIG First Principles. This role reports directly to Head of Business Transformation and Client Account Management. The primary responsibility of this position includes architecture and execution of CRM and Sales Enablement Technology projects. Host weekly standups with the team, prioritize activities and identify gaps, issues, and new tasks in order to effectively complete project activities. Additionally, the candidate will maintain the existing system, identifying end user system/reported issues, develop and test solutions in a staging environment, provide UAT support, and create and deploy changes to production.
About the role
What you need to know:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day Salesforce related inquiries and provide a high-level of service and support at AIG First Principles.
  • Develop, implement, re-factor and test Salesforce CRM, Apex, Visualforce pages, Triggers, Integration, Lighting implementation, Workflow rules, Custom setting, Validations, REST API's, SOAP API's, web service integration, User support, Reports, Dashboards, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
  • Design solutions with maximum usability while minimizing complex code and customization.
  • Test system components for compliance with functional requirements.
  • Participate in user requirement sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and technical solutions.
  • Create and manage modern salesforce automation tools - including Process Builder, Flows, including all of the point-and-click type development tools.
  • Create and manage custom fields, objects, formulas, workflows, approval processes, etc.
  • Create and manage roles, profiles, security settings and permissions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Salesforce reports and ensure proper distribution.
  • Execute approved configuration changes to fields, workflows, reports, roles, permissions, security settings, layouts, custom objects, reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Integrating Salesforce with other applications, such as ERP Systems, and internal databases; along with the ability to address errors between the systems.
  • Anticipate and assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes and communicate your findings accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date current on Salesforce releases, features, best practices, applications, technologies and certifications.
What we’re looking for:
  • Five plus years of progressive and relevant experience within a global asset management.
  • Five plus years of experience analyzing, debugging, and correcting user-reported problems within software applications in a Help Desk environment.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Additional app builder/developer certifications a plus.
  • Experience configuring various Salesforce modules including but not limited to Sales, Support, Communities, visual flow & Process Builder, validation rules, security administration and reports.
  • Experience with Salesforce Administrative tasks, including creating users, profiles, roles, page layouts, workflows, approvals, reports, analytic snapshots and dashboards, and email services.
  • Must have Lightning administration and development experience.
  • Good understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database schema is required along with proficiency in SOQL.
  • Ability to learn and leverage the features of Salesforce as well as teach others how to effectively utilize the system.
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude.
  • Able to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to translate technical information in order to cater to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with integration tools (Jitterbit, Boomi, Informatica, Mulesoft) a plus.
  • Experience with Datawarehouse and ETL (Talend, Snowflake).
  • Experience with Marketing Automation tools (especially Pardot) a plus.
  • Experience with Content Management System (especially Seismic) a plus.
  • Web Development experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
