The Sales Manager must be dynamic and driven to lead and grow our sales team, drive performance, and ensure the company’s continued success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Development:
o Hire and onboard new sales representatives for both inside and outside sales teams
o Provide training on flooring products, trends, and sales techniques to ensure team members are well-equipped to perform
o Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, offering coaching and mentorship to drive success
o Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Performance Management:
o Set and track KPIs for the sales team, ensuring accountability and performance excellence
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
o Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
• Sales Strategy and Execution:
o Collaborate with directors and sales leadership to implement strategic sales initiatives
o Assist sales representatives in closing high-value deals, providing guidance and support as needed
o Identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share
• Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
o Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients and support the sales team in complex negotiations
• Industry Engagement:
o Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent RM Interiors and stay updated on market trends
o Develop a deep understanding of the flooring market, particularly in the rental property sector
• Communication and Collaboration:
o Serve as a liaison between the sales team and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of goals, expectations, and feedback
o Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating sales teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Ability to travel as needed for industry events and client meetings
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
•Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the flooring, construction or property management industry
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to sit behind a desk for long stretches of time
•Repetitive motion
Reports to:
•Director of Business Development; Primary
•Executive VP of Sales; Secondary
Location & Hours:
•Full-time; Standard work week Monday to Friday
•Sporadic evening or weekend work may be required as job duties demand
•5 to 7 days per month travel
•Office located in Mesa, Arizona
Compensation and Benefits:
•$70,000 to $85,000 annual*
•Standard 3% - 10% annual bonus program based on tenure
•Commission structure as outlined in most current agreement
