We're hiring a Marketplace Operations Manager! Join our team!

Your contribution will be key in achieving operational results, efficiency, and processes through unified Supply Chain Network plans and cross-functional execution with a keen focus on delivering on our Consumer Promise and driving our Digital First Supply Chain at Scale offense. You will assess and identify key performance metrics regarding Nike’s Digital Consumers in the Supply Chain, focusing on the speed and reliability of Consumer shipments and services.

The candidate needs to have a consumer and retail approach, understanding the connection back to the supply chain, while developing plans/strategies for supply chain service to stores in conjunction with omni-channel capabilities across the Nike marketplace.

As a leader with the Digital Supply Chain team, you will drive the daily Digital execution with the cross functional team based on key inputs of the Direct to Consumer Digital Operations team (Coverage, Inventory, Forecast Alignment, Productivity) and Sales crew (Forecasting, Planning, Allocation, Sell-thru). You'll lead weekly operational reviews of metrics with partners across the DCs with input from Transportation, Planning, Tech and CS. In this capacity, you'll support seasonal execution as you ensure the right processes are in place to anticipate trends, issues and need for partner concerns across the functions. You will drive process improvement projects based on data analytics.

What you will work on
  • Provide direction, analysis and reporting that support the Digital Order-to-Deliver process, including the Supply Chain network.
  • Responsible for developing Process Management Excellence and a Continuous Improvement mindset to ensure timeliness and accuracy of critical information, events and procedures.
  • Drive alignment with Tech partners on Order Drop and other potential Tech issues linked to the Digital Supply Chain.
  • Be on point for connecting with Tech, Digital Ops, Loss Prevention, Consumer Service and the SC teams to ensure a smooth daily execution.
  • Demonstrate high-level planning, analysis and systems expertise to handle daily business processes in conjunction with complex issues.
  • Create visibility of change requests and provide recommendations for process improvements. Define, drive and manage recurring and high impact business and reporting processes to ensure consistent and accurate business operations
What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics or Statistics preferred
  • 5 years relevant experience
  • User experience with systems including ERP tools such as SAP, SAP-r, DOMS and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience with SQL and/or Cognos & Tableau is preferred
  • Understanding of Digital/ Ecommerce business models.
  • Experience managing Customer UX and operationalizing customer centric strategy
  • Proven track record working within a multi-team environment including cross team calibration
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and TQM.
  • Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks and lead multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts and information to users with a wide range of backgrounds
