Job Summary Beeswax created the Bidder-as-a-Service™ concept because we believe that every advertiser should have power, flexibility, and transparency when buying programmatic media, so come join the team and help us take our customers into the next generation of Real-Time Bidding (RTB).
We are looking for an ad tech and data science guru who, as a Senior Solutions Engineer for Data, Reporting, and Custom API Scripting, will help our clients achieve success on our platform via custom reporting, log level data manipulation, and API scripting. This role will be a part of our Beeswax Professional Services team within Global Client Services at FreeWheel.
You will work closely with the Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering teams to consult prospective and current customers on best practices for success with the Beeswax platform and its corresponding reporting, log data, and trafficking API offerings.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing custom reporting solutions when our standard reporting suite and log offerings do not meet a unique customer need. Lastly, you will become the subject matter expert on our REST API and develop custom scripts using the API when necessary.
You will also be expected to shadow our Programmatic Optimization Solutions Consultant in order to independently operate and improve our algorithmic approach to optimizing campaigns.
Understand customers’ technical requirements and craft custom solutions centered on the Beeswax platform and it’s reporting and trafficking API solutions
Create project proposals that scope out the custom need
Develop custom reports or data deliveries based on our available log level data
Develop API scripts (or manage 3rd party vendors who develop said scripts) to meet custom trafficking needs
Build a trusted relationship with client stakeholders, particularly in ad ops, engineering, and product roles
Consult prospective clients on Beeswax technical specifications and recommendations
Work with our Programmatic Optimization Solutions Consultant to develop bid optimization models through classic modeling techniques that help customers hit performance goals with minimal effort on the customer side
Provide ongoing feedback to product and engineering to offer scalable solutions for our customers
Go deep to troubleshoot customer issues and manage more complex issues that require product and engineering resources through to resolution
B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related quantitative field, or 2 years experience in a similar role
Domain expert in real-time bidding and digital advertising with 3- 5 years of work experience in a technical customer facing role in advertising technology ( adtech )
