SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for leading the company’s Human Resource functions to ensure Network Center, Inc. is staying competitive in its benefits offerings and Hiring process. Responsible for the hiring and onboarding of new employees, benefit management to ensure we are staying competitive with the market and monthly payroll processing function.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date
  • Maintain Employee records
  • Work with Team Leads to ensure review process is taking place and is documented
  • Conduct preemployment background check and drug screening
  • Process Semi-monthly payroll
  • Benefit Management
  • Ensure payroll records are up to date and maintained
  • Help maintain/build NCI culture

Additional Duties:

  • Ability to work in a team collaboratively and communicate effectively
  • Support Team Leads with employee performances
  • Work with local colleges for recruiting new employees
  • Work with recruiters in our markets to build talent pool
  • Responsible for maintaining the Employee Handbook to keep with current practices
  • Work with ESOP Committee to help stimulate Employee Ownership Culture
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Overall experience of 5+ years
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources
  • Strong sense of employee service and satisfaction
  • Solid understanding of Human Resources and Benefit Administration
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude, willingness to grow personally and professionally
  • Ability to help achieve company goals and accept ownership of essential functions
