We have an exciting opportunity to join Warwick Hotels and Resorts as a Group Sales Manager at our Warwick Denver location. As Group Sales Manager, you will perform a vital role within our operation and be a key driver of our success.

Warwick Denver is a 216-key hotel equipped with large fitness center, rooftop pool, the newly renovated Italian-American eatery Gattara, and two dedicated floors of meeting and event space. Offering such great amenities and located within a short distance of many of Denver’s best downtown attractions, Warwick Denver is well-positioned for leisure, business, and government travelers alike.

Experience in each stage of sourcing, qualifying, booking, and seeing through to completion for both Groups business and Banquet and Catering business will is desired. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate and promote the best possible experience for our guests and employees.
  • Perform as a primary driver of revenue to ensure quarterly and annual revenue goals are achieved for the hotel.
  • Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships, with a service-oriented approach.
  • Research, understand, and keep yourself up-to-date with industry and local competitive landscape knowledge. This includes information about citywide events or other large group bookings which may affect the hotel.
  • Personally source, qualify, and book new business for the hotel.
  • Respond to RFPs and other inquiries.
  • Show a desire to continually drive new business in a creative manner, never settling for less than our targeted goals.

This position will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years as Sales Manager, or three years as Sales Coordinator, responsible for multiple segments within a hotel environment. Colorado, and specifically Denver, experience is preferred, but other candidates will be considered.
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Possess excellent presentation, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and preferred experience with industry specific software and programs
  • Ability to comprehend, read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to work in person at our Denver location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000
