Job Description

SemiTorr currently has an opening for an experienced sales professional familiar with the industrial instrumentation market in Northern California, covering the bay area. We are aggressively growing this segment of our Industrial Division with high quality equipment lines which offer a competitive advantage.

Our customers include engineers, contractors, and industrial end-users.

The ideal candidate will have both Sales and Business Development experience.

· Manage an existing Northern California sales territory for all products and services offered in the industrial instrumentation market

· Have existing company and customer contacts in the territory

· Expand the current customer base within the territory

· Call on contractors, engineers, and end-users to promote industrial equipment including instrumentation

· Have experience in the instrumentation field (should include measurement and flow experience)

· Have worked as a sales representative or with sales representatives in the industrial instrumentation market

· Develop and maintain customer relationships through sales calls for over 20 product lines in the industrial instrumentation marketplace

· Forecast sales activities through CRM

· Evaluate the marketplace to determine new market and product opportunities

· Develop a market strategy to expand product lines within the current territory and beyond

· Knowledge base in instrumentation including any special training seminars by major instrumentation firms

General Skills:

· Willingness to listen carefully and ask questions

· 3 - 5 plus years’ experience in the Industrial Instrumentation Market

· Engineering or technical background with a knowledge base in instrumentation including any special training seminars by major instrumentation firms

· Enjoy interacting with people in a sales environment

· Self-Starter that can work independently

· Knowledgeable user of office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Etc. CRM databases a plus

· Ability to communicate accurately and effectively - Good written and oral communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
