Are you a security professional passionate about preventing and eliminating security risk? Do you have experience securing IT and security tools?

This role is for a seasoned information security professional who will lead projects, provide security guidance, mentor junior staff, and maintain a high technical skill set in a diverse and changing enterprise environment. You have a deep technical curiosity and thrive when given opportunity to analyze and investigate. You will also be instrumental in building relationships across the organization to help champion and influence security for Salesforce.

In this role, you will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand their objectives, identify threats, and scale our enterprise security programs. You will collaborate with our Business and IT organizations and champion security requirements in the selection, development, and integration of a wide range of technologies. You will also have the opportunity to identify emerging threats and design new processes that balance security and business agility across Salesforce.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform security assessment (people, process, technology, and integration) on security tools and IT management tools. This will include threat models, risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, design reviews, and penetration tests

  • Define and develop technical security standards and guidelines in collaboration with other security staff

  • Collaborate with security teams, infrastructure engineering teams, and corporate business units to drive solutions through a secure development lifecycle (influencing architecture, design, road-map development, growth strategies, budgets, and business process integration

  • Recommend enhancements to Enterprise Security procedures and identify process improvement opportunities


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in a security engineering/security assurance role

  • Experience with secure configuration of third party security products/services (DLP, Patch Management, Antivirus, …) and IT management products/services (Asset Management, Configuration Management …)

  • Experience in security assurance practices (threat modeling, code/design reviews, and penetration testing)

  • Knowledge of common application, infrastructure, and cloud security vulnerabilities and mitigations

  • Experience engaging other security teams, IT, and corporate customers regarding security

  • Ability to prioritize and drive multiple work streams forward simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated, driven to overcome obstacles and execute on provided objectives.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT, GPEN or similar.

  • Experience creating data flow diagrams

  • Contributions to the security community such as research, public CVEs, bug-bounty recognitions, open-source projects, and blogs or publications
