Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive (Outside Sales) to join our team at Allied Electric Sign & Awning, a leader in custom sign and awning manufacturing. This role will focus on generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth by providing tailored signage and awning solutions to commercial customers.
As an Account Executive, you will be the face of the company to clients and responsible for managing the entire sales process from lead generation to contract close. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the sign, construction, or related industries, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing excellent customer service and consultation.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to clients, showcasing our custom signage and awning solutions.
- Solution Design & Quoting: Work with the design and production teams to create customized proposals and quotes tailored to clients' needs.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, track sales activities in CRM, and provide regular updates to management.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contract terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Post-Sales Support: Ensure smooth project hand-off to production and installation teams, addressing any client concerns as needed.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to continuously improve the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the signage, awning, construction, or a related field.

Skills:
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Personality: Driven, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with a desire to exceed sales targets.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
