This client-facing position is part of our Professional Services Organization at 3GC. This is a senior position within information technology. The Principal Program Manager provides oversight of all technical operations between 3GC and the client. In addition, the role advises the client on IT improvement opportunities.


  • Client Facing role includes:
  • Provide oversight for the entire contract
  • Act as a bridge with 3GC, your internal IT team, and/or company executives
  • Provide the following services on-demand:
  • Counseling on existing applications, infrastructure, budget, risks, and utilization
  • Aligning IT with the business to make IT a technology “enabler”
  • Analysis of current state and long-term strategy to assist in planning for optimized IT operations
  • Organizational Change Management guidance
  • Strategy & Road-mapping
  • Design & Architecture
  • Assist in IT project prioritization
  • IT vendor guidance
  • IT maturity assessment
  • Internal 3GC responsibilities:
  • Review trending issues for clients and work with the technical team to plan and implement resolutions
  • Review client goals and develop roadmaps with client stakeholders to achieve them
  • Review client tools and processes for improvements to streamline customer success activities and services
  • Serve as a technical point of escalation for given areas of subject matter expertise (networking, virtualization, Windows Server, Cloud etc.)


  • 10+ years of progressive work with at least 3+ years of technical leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required in IT or related field and a master’s degree preferred
  • Experience and strong knowledge in On-Prem and Cloud Networking, Systems, Storage and IT Security
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-organizational, complex enterprise programs or projects utilizing internal and vendor resources
  • Experience in effectively interacting with executives and senior leaders
  • Strong business acumen
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Comfortable presenting and communicating across all levels of the organization in an effective, situationally appropriate, clear, and high-quality manner
  • Capable of strong individual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment, orchestrating strategic and complex business activity
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results with little supervision; ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects
  • Willing to report on-site at Irvine, CA

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $130.00 per hour
