We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative with expertise in commercial roofing and a background in the building products industry. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in cultivating and sustaining robust relationships within the expansive and diverse customer base within the construction community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients in need of commercial roofing products.
- Conduct assessments of client roofing needs and provide tailored proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and property managers.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Effectively communicate to our customers the advantages of our products and the additional value provided by our services.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting and relationship-building strategies.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial roofing sales, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of roofing systems and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
