Office Furniture Heaven (OFH) in New York, NY is seeking to add a full-time Office Furniture Sales Representative to our business-to-business (B2B) sales team! We offer a competitive base salary of $60,000 plus commission. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OFFICE FURNITURE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

As an Office Furniture Sales Representative, you are on the front lines of gaining market share for our products and thus continuing the evolution of our company as a whole. You are a "go-getter" who has learned what our products have to offer and jumps right into prospecting and networking with architects, designers, and the real estate community. Your ability to build relationships is essential as you are our clients' primary point of contact. You prepare PowerPoint presentations for clients and networking groups to showcase our furniture and designs. As you listen to each company's needs, you effectively explain how our services can satisfy those needs and skillfully overcome objections. You also follow up to ensure clients are satisfied.

Though you love interacting with people and building relationships, you are also organized and goal-oriented. You proactively forecast and carefully plan out your year in order to regularly achieve goals. So that you can better understand client needs, you closely monitor competitors and market conditions. Closing each transaction gives you a great sense of accomplishment, and you are happy to accept feedback in order to continually grow your earnings! Plus, you enjoy being able to work in our office, travel locally, and work in your remote office!


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • At least 1 year of office furniture sales experience
  • Experience with Interior Design
  • Experience with spatial type projects
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn QuickBooks, CRM, and automated systems
  • Ability to work some remote hours and travel locally to visit clients and attend industry events
