Position SummaryThe Capital Project Manager is responsible for ensuring Parker Instrumentation products are approved by the End Users of the region in their corporate standards and if possible preferred on their major projects. The role is to work closely with Semiconductor Fab owners, the divisions, Parker sales companies & distributors to ensure that specification is won & then converted into orders. The main area of responsibilities is to focus on Key Fab owners and the contractors. The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with the Fabs and Construction firms to win specifications.
ResponsibilitiesMAIN DUTIES • Update the Project tracking CRM from concept through feed, detailed design & ultimate award. • Ensure Parker Veriflo and other Parker products are specified by the Fab owners. • Build strong relationships with the Construction firms to insure we get the opportunities to Bid on the projects. • Find & circulate Package Vendor Information to Distributors. • Hold regular Distribution meetings to network Project information. • Establish relationships with the main companies, in the area, and be able to prioritize activities with the most attractive partners from a portfolio of many. • Travel where necessary to secure specification. • Build a directory of site specifications at end users, key contacts within the Fabs, Design Firms and Contractor companies • Work with the Innovation teams at the Divisions to understand customer unmet needs and its’ input to the New Product Development process – Winovation • Create Winovation projects for the NA and EMEA fabs through Blue Printing • Assist the Division in its Strategic Pricing Activities • Be a team player to exchange information & support other Divisions to win projects together. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Be responsible for a multi-million $ Sales target and a monthly sales forecast 2. Be responsible for adding Parker specifications with Fabs NA and EMEA. 3. Be responsible for helping Fab’s to update technical specification that would be Parker friendly. 4. Responsible to tracking projects to convert specification into orders 5. Need to network with Distributors, Design Firms, Construction Companies and industry experts to improve Parker brand 6. Follow the cadence, update the project CRM and submit quality reports on time. 7. Develop technical knowledge to be recognize in the industry as a technical and product expert.
Qualifications• Educated to Degree level or equivalent • Prior experience working with Fabs and Contractors • Understanding of Regulators Valves & UHP Fittings • Proven account management or other relevant experience • Strong account management and relationship building skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills • Excellent verbal and written communications skills KEY COMPETENCIES • Highly self-motivated. • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization • Maintains open and constructive approach to all issues • Must effectively & timely respond to significant customer’s enquiries or complaints. • Has the ability to meet/exceed targets and deadlines. • High levels of Project Management skills • Work successfully with Cross Functional teams • Continually striving for Continuous Improvements
