At Aberdeen Place Hospice, our passion is providing patient centered, family-oriented end-of-life care! Our exceptional team guides a patient & family from the chaos of a terminal illness to the tranquility and peace of life-embracing care. We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our team.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for:

  • Generating hospice referrals that lead to achieving monthly hospice admission goals in a given territory
  • Providing referral sources education about our incredible services and programs
  • Developing and maintaining contact with healthcare professionals in physician’s offices, Assisted Living/Personal Care communities, and hospitals or any other assigned accounts
  • Developing and implementing special events, educational programs and presentations targeted at healthcare providers, facilities, and community groups, establishing and reinforcing Aberdeen Place Hospice as the expert in hospice services
  • Serving as the customer service representative for all hospice agency referral sources in their territory, including sales calls, hospice education, and community in-services regarding hospice
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing materials
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of Aberdeen Place Hospice markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources and competitor’s marketing position


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience and training
  • 2+ years business development experience in healthvcare (hospice/home health preferred)
  • Be able to generate 6+ admissions per month
  • Great customer service skills
  • Knowledge of (or ability to learn) the Rules and Regulations that govern hospice Federally and in the State of Georgia
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, good negotiation skills and public relation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
