We have achieved extensive growth in Canada where we are based and are now pursuing expansion in the United States. We’re a rapidly growing company that has recently been named an Emerging Legal Technology Leader by The National Law Journal in the United States. We are scaling our team as we grow into even more areas of law. All that said, we are still a startup and continue to maintain a fun, “all in this together” attitude as we push the envelope on what legal research can and should look like, both today and in the future.

As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join our team, you will be expected to drive product adoption across a customer portfolio that includes leading law and accounting firms. The CSM’s ultimate goal will be to maximize customer engagement and retention and identify opportunities for expansion revenue. In this role, you will be part of a high-achieving and agile team, acting as a key contributor to Blue J Legal’s exciting growth, reporting directly to the Director of Customer Success.

The role

    • Manage a portfolio of accounts and become a trusted advisor to customers
    • Train customers on how to use Blue J platforms, ensuring delivery of value to the customer portfolio
    • Achieve identified revenue and growth targets
    • Proactively reach out to cultivate relationships with clients & decision makers to ensure retention
    • Establish and measure customer goals
    • Work closely with the sales team to identify cross-sell opportunities
    • Become a product expert and address customer inquiries
    • Maintain a regular cadence of communication with customers and serve as the main point of contact for support escalations

Skills & Experience

    • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
    • Client facing experience preferably at a SaaS company
    • Demonstrated ability/potential to manage a book of business independently
    • Demonstrated ability to work well in a closely-knit team
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and Project Management skills
    • Naturally team-oriented and thrive in collaborative environments
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from accredited university
