The Director, Global AE Sales Enablement is a senior member of Tableau’s Global Sales Enablement team responsible for setting the strategy for account executive (AE) focused enablement programs to improve sales productivity and effectiveness during each stage of the customer buying process.
The ideal candidate will lead a team of global sales enablement professionals and collaborate extensively with the Salesforce global enablement and regional enablement partners to develop, deliver and lead AE focused enablement programs including go to market messaging, value based selling approaches, competency and skill development, and sales operations. This leader will be metrics driven and forward thinking – someone who has a passion for sales in a high growth environment and continuously sets the bar higher with enablement programs.
What you’ll be doing:
Drive the strategy and development of global AE enablement programs in partnership with senior sales leaders and other partners.
Baseline and assess AE skills, knowledge, process and tools required to increase sales productivity at each stage of the buying process. Align development areas to role-specific learning paths.
Partner with the enablement content teams, L&D, and cross functional professionals to create new and/or identify and enhance existing learning assets to address AE specific training needs.
Partner with sales programs, sales operations, marketing, and key stakeholders to deliver integrated AE focused selling resources and facilitated enablement programs.
Be the advocate and driver of AE focused experiential, behavior changing, and performance driving enablement programs
Collaborate with Salesforce global and Tableau theater enablement partners to drive simplicity, consistency, and standard methodologies across all AE focused enablement programs.
Help develop and deliver AE frontline manager enablement programs to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, processes and tools required to lead their sales teams effectively.
Establish and monitor sales focused metrics and technologies aligned to enablement programs; evaluating and evolving to increase sales productivity and performance.
Regularly spend time in the field with managers and AEs to understand the “field reality” and build sales enablement deliverables to meet their needs
Who we’re looking for:
12+ years of sales/sales operations/sales enablement/marketing experience that includes B2B enterprise selling
Previous experience as a direct enterprise seller or sales manager
Demonstrated experience establishing and leading a sales enablement team in a global, fast-paced environment
Strong domain knowledge and experience in creating and/or implementing customer centric, value-based sales methodologies and approaches.
Exceptional facilitation skills across various selling approaches; Corporate Visions experience a plus
Successful track record of maximizing data and analytics to understand performance and improve results
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross functional collaboration experience
Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree a plus

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $140,300. You may also be entitled to receive incentive compensation and benefits.
