Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to lead our sales team in achieving exceptional performance across the designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and fostering customer relationships. This role requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.

Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives within the assigned district.
  • Manage territory assignments and ensure effective coverage of key markets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with team members to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead by example in customer engagement, including cold calling and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on performance metrics.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies and enhance brand visibility in the market.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to sales representatives, focusing on retail sales techniques and technical sales knowledge.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for effective territory management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Experience in retail sales, with a solid understanding of market dynamics.
  • Technical sales experience is a plus, enabling effective communication of product benefits to customers.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions that foster long-term relationships.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $425,000.00 per year
