Summary:
Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Rack Sales Manager to join our innovative Wholesale Sales team in Oklahoma City, OK,Houston, TX, or surrounding areas. The Rack Sales Manager is responsible for performing senior-level sales processes, procedures, and functions for the Wholesale division of Tri Star Energy.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the profitability and volumetric goals of assigned Rack Sale region.
  • Prospects and develops new business relationships on a regional basis across a varied customer base including distributors, retailers, grocery/HVR, and other ratable channels.
  • Successfully articulates and closes sales of spot and contract terms as well as advanced physical/financial transactions.
  • Actively manages a book of customers in a designated territory by maintaining and developing lasting relationships.
  • Responsible for setting nightly fuel prices in assigned terminal markets, evaluating local and regional supply and demand conditions and pricing to maximize gross profit.
  • Continuously identifies new sales opportunities with new customers, new markets, and/or new product offerings.
  • Utilizes varied sales mechanisms to maximize gross profit, including fixed forward, short term, daily rack sales, and annual agreements. Maintains expert knowledge of all current product types and pricing methods offered through the company system.
  • Identify potential acquisition targets.
  • Identify and promote relationship between carriers, customers and other LOBs.
  • Actively works with the supply team to manage inventory positions across all products and terminals.
  • Maintains effective daily communication and timely reporting with other branches of the company including Credit, Pricing and Accounting.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, supply chain & logistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of Wholesale supply and sales experience
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience in the fuel/petroleum industry
