What We're Looking For*
We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Specialist to join our North America Field Marketing team and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. As an Events Specialist you will be responsible for supporting Field Marketing in planning and organizing events and meetings for the organization. This position will collaborate closely with JAGGAER's sales, sales development, and cross-functional marketing teams to plan and execute.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn and to explore.

Principal Responsibilities: Awesome things you'll do:

  • All operational and implementation aspects of events and meetings for North America
  • All pre/post-event promotion and activities, both internal and external
  • Report out on event/campaign success and business contribution
  • Support JAGGAER's demand generation and sales goals through regional field and industry events
  • Maintain direct alignment with sales teams and sales development teams in terms of pre, during, and post event communication promotion
  • Represent and build relationships with JAGGAER counterparts at partners, vendors, and third-party organizations
  • Managing event budgets and pricing negotiations
  • Identifying appropriate materials, speaking topics, and internal/external speakers for all events
  • Supporting internal and customer-facing events when needed

Position Requirements: What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years practical experience of working in a marketing environment, ideally within B2B technology
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field
  • Proven success in managing events
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of marketing tools like Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Proficiency with office productivity applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, Smartsheet)
  • Strong project management, time management, and execution skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate needs to sales
  • Willingness to travel (post-pandemic) approximately 20% of the time

Success in this Position

  • Consistently meeting demand generation KPIs through marketing events
  • You have built a strong, trusting relationship with sales as a representative of marketing
  • You have taken ownership of full events from identifying appropriate events to reporting out on success of said events
  • You are considered a collaborative and integral part of the team
