Business Development Manager (Sales) is recruiting and screening candidates on behalf of our partner Planet4IT and its clients. will be responsible for application and screening processes, and if you’re selected, Planet4IT will be responsible for the interview stage of the hiring process.

About the role: Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our current expert team! This person is responsible for developing new sales within a portfolio of accounts across one our assigned territories, fostering key business relationships with new and existing clients.

To help you exceed your sales targets, we’ll help you build client-specific strategies and solutions, increasing sales volume, while meeting expectations for profitability and client success and satisfaction. You will spend most of your time meeting clients and making sales at the client both on-site and online.

This is a full time position and you will work closely with our highly collaborative team, including close contact with the top sales leaders, as well as other leaders in the company. What you will do:

Partner with clients to define strategic objectives and talent needs, generating sales opportunities for solutions and/or services

Regularly conducts sales meetings with client contacts, creating strong and effective relationships

Negotiate new client contracts, renewals, extensions, and amendments

Develop client-specific strategies aimed at achieving revenue, gross profit, and other financial targets

Produce, analyze, and communicate sales forecasts and other related reports to key stakeholders

Build and maintain subject matter expertise on industry trends, market activities and competitor strategies. Collaborate to implement solution and service improvements

Establish and maintain a network of industry contacts through participation in professional/trade associations and other professional networking organizations

What you will need to succeed:

  • 1+ years relevant sales experience in the IT staffing industries required

Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields are preferred

Knowledge of CRM solutions and/or related tools, sales trends, best practices and methodologies

Expresses exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships

Quickly adapts to changes in the business environment

Strong focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service

Identifies and resolves problems by recommending and implementing creative solutions

Prioritizes, organizes and performs multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Demonstrates business acumen and market insight

Key Accountabilities  * Create customer success plans to drive growth for each account  * Support solution design and technical implementation of current desired integrations as outlined in the customer success plan. * Monitor user adoption and product utilization and create targeted programs to increase engagement and support the agency's change management process. * Build strong relationships between the Miovision product and support teams to ensure continuous resolution of ongoing operational issues as well as product deficiencies that may come up.  * Participate in regular support and health checks to ensure accounts are continuing to derive value from our solutions * Support software renewal and upselling activities  Skills/Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level * 5+ years of technical experience; must understand network products * Ability to travel internationally, providing on-site consulting work to clients * Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills * Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping and process redesign * Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support * Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues * Basic understanding of product development and engineering processes.  We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
