Go-to-Market Project Manager-(21001652)

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Go-to-Market (GTM) Distribution Strategy and Execution, the GTM Project Manager will have accountability to execute GTM strategies and initiatives. These will include strategic growth projects such as the “Win Rooms” which is focused on data-driven approach to identifying market opportunities to increase quotes from new or under penetrated brokers.

The position requires a solid grasp of traditional project management skills with an emphasis on communications and relationship building. Identify, prioritize, and implement new projects and special projects to support GTM objectives. Responsible for establishing and monitoring key program metrics to gauge achieved performance and adjust as needed. As project owner, the candidate will conduct data analysis and provide summary details to key stakeholders.

You will:
  • Measure, analyze, and implement changes to meet or exceed performance and financial targets. The ideal candidate will be and well organized and experienced with process, driving positive change, enjoys team collaboration and being hands on with data. This role will be focused on the business development and growth.
  • Build relationships within all cross functional business partners across Guardian
  • Take a hands-on approach to supporting our sales and service team members in implementing the win room and other strategic growth processes.
  • Provide reports as required senior leadership on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
  • Work collaboratively with the Field Sales Leadership team in the development and execution of strategic initiatives, i.e. Win Rooms.

  • Up to 10% travel within the broader U.S.

You have:
  • 5+ years of strategic project management experience; Group benefits industry background preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to execute projects on
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide thought leadership.
  • Strong analytic skills with demonstrated track record in project execution.
  • Ability to determine which project management tools are best suited and effectively using those tools to increase the likelihood of project success.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to act as a change agent where necessary and motivating the project teams in support of meeting the project and business objectives are key competencies in this leadership role.
  • Ability to operate in a virtual environment and effectively build rapport virtually.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Team player with ability to build relationships and effectively interact both internally and externally with people at all levels of the organization especially with Distribution field leaders.
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills.
