Plexpack is growing and is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and responsible individual to add to our team at our Toronto HQ.

This role supports and serves to proactively represent Plexpack’s line of equipment as a whole in an inside sales capacity.

Inside Sales: The purpose of this role is to introduce and represent Plexpack’s customizable, made-to- order flexible packaging machinery solutions to diverse decision makers in targeted industries within the Americas. This is an important sales role requiring outbound customer calls and digital communications to qualify new business opportunities, follow up on tradeshow and website leads, mine existing and past customers and support lead generation campaigns.

This role requires some basic technical aptitude, and more importantly an engaging personality that facilitates relationships with a diverse customer and prospect base. Consultative and solutions-based sales approaches are key to forming brand relationships. The role requires a proactive outbound focus on qualifying new and existing customer accounts, and qualifying leads and opportunities for Plexpack products to optimize new business development.

Responsibilities Inside Sales
A. Professionally represent Plexpack to new, existing or past customers by phone, email or social media to support the awareness and growth of Plexpack products in various markets.

B. Exhibit an energetic, proactive, outbound approach to target, qualify and develop sales


C. Follow up on and qualify customer interest on leads generated from trade shows, website, and marketing campaigns.

D. Build rapport and develop strong relationships with diverse decision makers to qualify develop and grow new, existing or past accounts.

E. Maintain and update CRM/ERP of customers, contacts and prospective customers.

F. Track and report on sales activities and call results for effectiveness of outbound efforts and campaigns.

G. Attend / participate in local, regional or national industry trade shows, events, and sales meetings as required.

H. Stay up to date on Plexpack’s full product offerings to effectively explain product features, advantages, and benefits and build on value proposition for the customer.

I. Stay up to date on sales skills, professional knowledge and self-training to maximize professional growth and advancement.

Preferred Experience or Skills
A. 3-5 years experience in a brand ambassador or inside sales role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

B. Strong ability to create customer rapport and relationships.

C. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

D. Strong skills in qualifying, influencing and developing new business opportunities.

E. Ability to work internally and collaborate with sales and internal departments.

F. Good technical aptitude and interest.

G. Proficient in use of computers and software (Excel, Work, MS Office, CRM/Salesforce, etc).

H. Administrative or reception experience, ability to handle multiple tasks/projects

I. Self-motivated, highly organized and highly responsible

J. Ability to work autonomously to meet the professional standards, targets and expectations of a Plexpack representative.

K. Multi -lingual English, Spanish and/or French

Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
