What we need from you:
- Experience - You have 10+ years of Employee Benefits Account Manager experience (Preference to those with large group experience- self-funded, fully insured, HRA, HSA)
- Knowledge - Strongly knowledgeable of group insurance terminology, concepts, and coverage (medical, dental, vision, and disability products)
- Software - You are proficient with Applied Epic, BenefitPoint, Ease, Health Connect, and Microsoft Office Management Systems
- Licensed - You currently have a Life & Health/Accident License
Responsibilities:
- Occasional travel is required
- Attend and coordinate annual renewal and open enrollment meetings
- Collaborate with both clients and carriers to maintain relationships
- Provide client support by checking and distributing contracts with carriers and provide additional support to other accounts
- Develop professional and positive business relationships with clients
- Thoroughly research billing and invoicing issues
- Be present and attend various trainings to improve product knowledge and skills
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations
