Job Description

Texas Oil Electric is seeking a sales representative for industrial & oilfield motor sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create a culture of excellence, encouragement, safety, and professionalism.
  • Work directly under the direction of the Operations Manager and collaborate with other department managers to meet customer needs.
  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
  • Travel within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
  • Continually meet or exceed sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.
  • Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
  • Ensure that all customer invoices are correct and sent in a timely manner
  • Ensure delivery/pick up documentation is complete.
  • Supply purchasing agent with purchasing needs to fulfill customer orders.
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events.
  • Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
  • Any other duties as they pertain to what is best for the company, our employees, and our customers.


  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven outside sales experience.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Strong consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
