Electronic Protection Systems is a local security company based out of Lafayette, LA. We’ve been in business for over 19 years, and are looking to expand our sales team! We are Acadiana’s premier provider of home security solutions. We work to provide home security, camera surveillance, and home automation to our clients and deliver peace of mind.

Our staff has more than 150 years of combined experience. Some of our most notable clients are Stuller Settings, Our Lady of Lourdes, Lafayette General, and the Cajundome. The vehicle in which we provide our equipment and services is extremely unique, which gives us a distinct competitive advantage in our local market.

Who we’re Looking For

EPS is looking to add an inside sales position to our sales team. We’re hunting for someone who is driven, decisive, professional, and persistent. This inside sales position will handsomely reward representatives who have excellent communication and relationship building skills. The ideal candidate would be passionate about creating new relationships, capable of developing and maintaining effective habits and routines, and open to coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Contact current clients about necessary upgrades, offer upsells, and collect payments
  • Follow proven methods of follow-up with clients to maximize potential for referrals
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Able to pass a background check with no felony offenses

Skills

  • Proven work experience in sales/food service/customer service is a plus
  • Adequate knowledge of MS Office
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27,890.00 - $58,000.00 per year
