Job Description

Project Manager – Machining and Integrated Assembly

We are an industry leading, AS9100 certified contract CNC machining services and assembly provider focused on building the most advanced Semiconductor and Spacecraft hardware in the world. This role manages customer relationships of projects through the entire lifecycle from new product introduction to full production. This individual acts as a project manager for new projects working directly with our top customers, Operations, and Quality to gather and review all customer requirements, generate orders, plan manufacturing tasks and routings, and oversee projects to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plan and implement a variety of project sizes from new CNC machined part families, to new technologies, to Key Initiatives such as a new manufacturing space and/or location.

· Directly manage customer communication and relationships

· Expedite jobs through multiple departments to ensure we exceed customer requirements

· Provide detailed work content analysis showing what remains to be completed on urgent jobs

· Provide customer updates to jobs as necessary during manufacturing

· Monitor monthly revenue and report discrepancies to management, with action plans for resolution

· Analyze customer forecast and plan out the shop-floor execution to meet a customer schedule

· Assist Business Development Manager on large customer projects as required

· Communicate schedule improvement/delays to customer in a professional and technically accurate way

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Project management / Planning plus a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.

· Experience in technical industries like Semiconductor, Oil & Gas, or Aerospace

· Complete understanding of Quality systems, including ISO9001 and AS9100

· Strong organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on team building

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint

· Excellence in Microsoft Excel

· Prior training in use of an Enterprise Resource Planning system

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:

· Annual salary is based on DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
