Who We Are!

We are Solara Home Energy, and we are growing our team! We are an alternative energy company looking to carefully construct our sales team to support each other and grow the business, while carefully maintaining our priorities for our customers.

This is a fully on-site position that requires you to report to the office.

Position Summary:

The Solar Consultant- Customer Experience Specialist will report to the Sales Manager, providing service and support to Solara’s network of Third-Party Dealers and Sales Representatives via Project intake assessments.

The Customer Experience Specialist is responsible for conducting an accurate pre survey to help customers select available options, create Scope of Work, managing projects with a CRM, and maintaining project viability through regular account reviews.

The Customer Experience Specialist also acts as a conduit to Solara’s sales by hosting consultations. A successful Customer Experience Specialist demonstrates excellent attention to detail, transposes data accurately, and provides clear direction for Solara’s partners through project, contract, and/or finance documentation.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Display a basic understanding of Solar, required documents, contract and finance requirements.
  • Examine contracts and finance information to ensure accuracy.
  • Verify Property Ownership.
  • Manage Missing Paperwork to ensure all required documents are received, accurate and uploaded.
  • Document additional project costs properly within the Solara CRM.
  • Track performance against daily, weekly, and monthly KPI goals.
  • Familiarity with financing products, equipment, pricing, utility and state requirements.
  • Perform duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

Education & Certifications:

  • High School Graduate or GED

Experience:

  • 1+ Year of Operations Experience preferred
  • 1+ Year operating within a CRM or Project Management Software preferred
  • 1+ Year of Accounting or Contract/Document review experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to operate a computer and other communications equipment (i.e. phone, instant messaging, video conferencing, email, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a professional and effective manner, both verbally and written.
  • A perpetual focus on operational excellence and ability to persevere in an occasionally high stress environment.
  • Maintain tact and professionalism when dealing with difficult people and those in stressful situations.
  • Follow written and verbal directions, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and shift priorities.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative, effective working relationships with others.
  • Basic clerical and typing skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress in a high-level environment.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be highly organized and able to multitask on several projects at a time.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Physical Demands and Abilities:

  • Regularly spend long hours sitting, using office equipment, and computers.
  • Regularly spend long hours answering phone calls and emails.
  • Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly.
  • Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering information into a computer.
  • Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects.
  • Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
  • Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand.
  • Regularly understand the speech of another person.
  • Frequently bend to file and maintain files.
  • Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
