Senior Marketing Coordinator

Central Transport, LLC, a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 80 years is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator for our Corporate Office in Warren, MI. We are in search of enthusiastic, computer savvy individuals who are looking to continue building on their career.

Responsibilities Overview

  • Web Development
  • Web content management
  • Manage all aspects of design, development, production and distribution of both visual and written content for distribution to a variety of audiences including customers, employees, and chosen media sources
  • Manage and coordinate visual content and message delivery on a daily basis including web, print, non- traditional, and other aspects of the customer journey
  • Product and vendor selection for company logo products and ‘swag’ while adhering to established budgets and timelines
  • Maintain an inventory of professionally produced marketing materials
  • Selection, management, and vendor relations for company apparel/gear online store
  • Manage vendor relations in terms of cost reduction and services provided
  • Direct software developers to ensure adherence to standards for graphic design, color, font. layouts. And associated documentation
  • Create and distribute sales training materials
  • Daily communication with Executive leadership, Human Resources, and Sales on content creation and distribution
  • Decide upon best courses of action to enhance efficiency of material distribution while reducing cost
  • Graphic design and image manipulation
  • Work with Social Media Manager to create images and graphics in coordination with the social media calendar
  • Well versed in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Dreamweaver, Microsoft PowerPoint, Office, etc.



  • Prevent and counsel on excessive or incorrect ordering procedure
  • Prepare, pack, and ship marketing order
  • Maintain inventory of all marketing materials. Log all orders in a tracking spreadsheet
  • Visual content creation for marketing materials, social media, special projects
  • Available to perform time sensitive reporting if needed by Sales Analysis team: o Business in Jeopardy/Lost Business Report o Titan YTD o Sales Assignments


  • Monitor, transcribe and provide feedback on weekly conference calls of Regional Director of Sales & Account

On-Going or as needed:

  • Design, create, & maintain/update service maps o Maintain up to date accuracy in terms of facilities, locations, and branding initiatives
  • Update website as needed (i.e. flyer updates, photos, information, etc)
  • Mange sales content on Central Mall via chosen vendors
  • Update merchandise o Update logos for embroidering
  • Educate Account Manager sales classes on marketing materials, order placement, branding initiatives, best practices
  • Work with various vendors to source out, design, purchase company merchandise o Coordinate PO’s and invoices with purchasing and A/P departments o Recent merchandise: IPad laser etching, Notepads and ink pens, Car chargers, Laptop bags, Polo shirts
  • Trade show banners



  • New Web Site Development
  • FAQ documents for customer and Account Manager education regarding international shipping
  • Sales review of Central Mall merchandise
  • Marketing orders
  • Social media graphics
  • Transit time flyer library.


  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Digital Marketing preferred
  • Experience in web design required
  • 3-5 years experience in Marketing/Digital Marketing

Key Accountabilities  * Create customer success plans to drive growth for each account  * Support solution design and technical implementation of current desired integrations as outlined in the customer success plan. * Monitor user adoption and product utilization and create targeted programs to increase engagement and support the agency's change management process. * Build strong relationships between the Miovision product and support teams to ensure continuous resolution of ongoing operational issues as well as product deficiencies that may come up.  * Participate in regular support and health checks to ensure accounts are continuing to derive value from our solutions * Support software renewal and upselling activities  Skills/Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level * 5+ years of technical experience; must understand network products * Ability to travel internationally, providing on-site consulting work to clients * Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills * Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping and process redesign * Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support * Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues * Basic understanding of product development and engineering processes.  We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
