Overview:

United Plant Growers is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and increasing revenue across their assigned stores. As a UPG Sales Representative, you will work closely with store associates and management to ensure our garden centers are vibrant, organized, and ready for business.

Compensation and Benefits:

•     Hourly Rate:
•     Mileage Stipend: Weekly stipend based on miles traveled between accounts
•     Phone Reimbursement: per month
•     Vacation: Eligible after one year of employment (details in the employee handbook)
•     Insurance: Eligible after 90 days (UPG offers competitive dental, vision, and general health care plans)
•     401K Plan: Eligible after one year of employment (during open enrollment periods)
•     Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours of paid sick leave after 90 days of employment (for medical and sick use only, reference employee handbook)

Job Responsibilities:

•     Collaborate with store associates and management to ensure garden centers are well-maintained and visually appealing.
•     Provide inventory updates and feedback to internal teams.
•     Develop and execute an ordering schedule that keeps displays stocked with the right number and variety of plants based on sales trends.
•     Maintain neat, organized, and fresh plant displays.
•     Rotate plants regularly to ensure optimal appearance and sales potential.
•     Remove non-saleable plants and consolidate displays to accommodate fresh deliveries.
•     Accurately track hours worked through the Movista application, ensuring mandatory lunch breaks before the fifth hour (no exemptions, see employee handbook).

Terms and Conditions of Employment:

•     Punctuality is essential.
•     Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
•     Proof of auto insurance is required.
•     Maintain a clean driving record.
•     Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
•     Must be able to perform physical labor throughout the workday, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00-$21.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Expected hours: No more than 21 per week
