Job Summary

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for establishing the sales and marketing strategies, leading and developing a great team of people, and managing the P&L of the department.

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

  • Working with the rest of the executive team to develop the strategy and goals of the company
  • Create and define sales processes that drive success
  • Defines performance measurements to ensure sales organization success. Aligns reporting, training, and incentive programs with these performance management priorities.
  • Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes
  • Analyzes the market to determine customer needs and identify new market opportunities
  • Through market and customer insights informs the new product development process in conjunction with the design team
  • Supervises sales representatives and directs overall selling activity
  • Develops a strong team through coaching, training, and leadership
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of individual sales reps and the degree to which market penetration goals are being met
  • Maintains personal contact with key customers
  • Responsible for all marketing elements of the business, including branding, advertising, literature, website
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions, travel to customer accounts


  • BA with 5 to 10 years proven sales experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 5 years sales management experience, ability to direct staff as required
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent demonstrated computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Must hold a valid passport

Relation of the position to others in the company
- As a member of the executive team, this position works closely with all departments, specifically with the Production teams for aligning supply with demand, and Engineering and Design teams for developing new products

This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift for a minimum of two years.
