Recently Motorola Solutions has expanded our Video portfolio. It is this portfolio that will house the latest and greatest technologies associated with AI-powered solutions for video security, access control and mission-critical communications.
Reporting to Avigilon’s Vice President of Sales - NA, the North American Sales Director, Global Accounts will be a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about security solutions and is highly customer focused at NA level.
Given that a multinational company is coordinated centrally the North American Sales Director, Global Accounts will leverage a corporation relation with MSI by providing solutions to customer’s immediate and emerging needs.
Working in coordination with VP of Sales, NA and with Senior Director, Global Strategy Channel and Sales Operations the North American Sales Director, Global Accounts will be responsible for helping to define the End User program and implement the Global Accounts sales Strategy NA.
The North American Sales Director, Global Accounts high level position will be responsible for the management of existing Global Customers in NA across the three video brands (Pelco, Avigilon and IndigoVision), leverage the end user customer base of MSI and the development of a number of newly identified customers .
Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute and complete all business tasks assigned.
Attend team conference calls and meetings as prescribed.
Actively participate in sales development (client visits, meetings with sales force, presentations)
Create and execute assigned sector business plan, update and modify quarterly to reflect market changes/innovations and/or technology acquisitions.
Create and execute marketing plans targeting the assigned sector including marketing campaigns, tradeshow events, sales tools and web resources, social media and customer interactions as approved.
Work with and educate NA Sales Team members on how to engage assigned marketplace effectively and with maximum results.
Help in identifying trade associations, partnering opportunities, new business plans & objectives, and other creative market approaches to maximize impact of NA Team efforts within the assigned marketplace.
Develop relationships within the assigned sector that are relevant to security and surveillance and have the possibility of generating opportunity for MSI
Identify “product gaps” that need to be addressed by Product Management in order to gain greater exposure/standardization. Prepare regular reports and provide to your reporting line and Product Management on gaps.
Attend tradeshows and professionally participate in booth duty at various marketing events as determined necessary.
Develop standardized assigned sector presentations and sales tools for use by NA outlining Avigilon value proposition within vertical.
Create a positive work environment and utilize team building skills with other team members
Continuously provide feedback to Product Management around regulatory and/or IT requirements that impact our products ability within the assigned vertical (UL, Safety Act Certification, VMware Certification, etc.)
Work with Applications Engineering on standard proposal, engineering and qualification response for assigned sector and sub-verticals.
Provide monthly progress report(s).
The North American Sales Director Global Accounts, shall have the responsibility to cover the following territory / vertical: Global Accounts NA
Frequent travel (+50%) will be required during the execution of the duties of North American Sales Director, Global Accounts. Individual must reside near a major airport
Individual can be residential based in any US city
MSI may allocate such additional or other duties of work
5+ years of e nterprise solutions selling experience
5+ years of technology and/or software experience with experience road mapping deliverables
Must reside near a major airport
