Come join the Small Business Self Employed (SBSEG) – Product Development PMO team, as a Principal Technical Program Manager, supporting our QuickBooks Online product. QuickBooks Online is the core product in to the Small Business group which powers prosperity for all of our small businesses. The SBSEG Product Development PMO’s Mission is to accelerate the outcomes of the organization by driving for clarity among chaos and uniting cross-functional teams to operate with velocity.

What you'll bring

  • Strong Program Management team leadership experience, including 10+ years leading multiple complex software development projects
  • Excellent influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels and build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs.
  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences
  • Ability to rally teams behind your execution plan, communicate a clear story of challenges and opportunities, and align executive teams on program outcomes
  • Experience driving program outcomes in an Agile/Scrum based environment, balancing the desire of date driven business outcomes and prioritization based development outcomes

How you will lead

  • Kickstart multi-org programs, aligning disparate leaders and programs on single program outcomes
  • Create program structures that empower multi-org and distributed teams to achieve successful outcomes
  • Manage program dependencies, reporting and Sr. Leader escalations and communications
  • Define multi-org product & operational standards, dashboards, and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement across multi-org program teams enabling product & operational excellence
  • Drive/challenge discussions with experts achieving optimal outcomes
  • Influence program outcomes to align with Intuit’s technical & business strategy
  • Bring outside-in learnings to the team
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across Product Development, Product Management, Design, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Develop a close working relationship with the stakeholders to ensure that the team is focused on the highest priority programs, and is helping deliver the most value to our customers
  • Develop common mechanisms for keeping key stakeholders informed on the portfolio progress, risks, and issues
