Summary
Marcon is seeking an experienced, polished, and highly motivated Sales Representative to become a key member of our growing internal sales team. The ability to speak Mandarin is preferred but not required. Marcon is an exceptionally well-regarded developer of quality homes, phenomenal homeowner experience, and elevated customer care. We are building the industry’s most progressive sales team. This role is prime for a sales professional looking to help influence an in-house team with their passion for strong customer engagement and phenomenal communication skills. About the Role
The Sales Representative is the most crucial role in bringing our development communities to life in the eyes of our guests. As the front-line representative for the organization, you are keenly aware of the opportunity you and your team have to create an exceptional sales experience. We provide a huge opportunity for our team members to dive deeply into our programs, enabling you to understand all of the nuances, extra thought and design efforts that go into making a Marcon home exceptional. Practically speaking, you will be responsible for engagement with our prospective purchasers and realtors, along with executing all sales related tasks and functions for our development communities. Leaving no potential opportunity unexplored, you will work in tandem with a talented team to exceed sales targets, develop long standing relationships within the industry and advance the Marcon brand with everyone you interact with.
- Develop and cultivate authentic relationships with purchasers, Realtors and the overall community
- Ensure that every guest to your sales centre is given an elevated introduction to your sales program and connects with you as an ambassador for the development
- Liaise with the outside realtor community and share project details to get them excited, engaged and build anticipation
- Communicate the core values that make each Marcon home exceptional
- Work closely to support our Sales Manager and Sales Director to execute and refine our sales strategy
- Follow up with incoming sales inquiries, calls, texts, emails etc.
- Keep up to date knowledge of the surrounding community, competitive programs and maintain the ability to communicate the livability of various neighbourhoods throughout the Lower Mainland
- Ability to identify the needs of a buyer and match them with the floor plan that best suits their lifestyle
- Understand and be able to answer any questions related to the Contract and Disclosure Statement
- Maintain the database and ensure that registrant activity is always up to date
- Daily reports and tracking of sales and traffic activity
- Liaise with the marketing department and communicate the success of current marketing programs and promotions/incentives
- Assist with signage and balloons as required
- Input and manage MLS listings as required
- Input client data into CRM and utilize Avesdo for all contract related tasks
- Ensure the daily cleanliness of the sales centre is maintained.

- Preferred 3-5 years of experience in residential project sales
- Active Real Estate License is an asset, but not required
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, tech sales or similar is an asset
- A keen sense of understanding that being a part of a team means ensuring the collective is set up to achieve their best individual results
- Valid Driver’s License
- Post-Secondary Education
- A strong work ethic to approach your role in new ways and a willingness to execute outside of regular work hours/traditional structure is key
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to take on multiple tasks at one time
- Strong experience in multiple CRM, and business systems such as Avesdo, Lasso, Intercom etc.

Our competitive compensation package has been designed to reward our employees’ skills, competencies and performance that align with our culture. The compensation range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on candidate experience and qualifications. Coupled with this base salary, we offer pay for performance bonus programs, excellent family health benefits, RSP matching, employee recognition programs and plenty of opportunity to socialize, have fun and build genuine relationships.
