Job Role and Responsibilities:

This role will provide leadership and support to the WW Network & Security Sales team with heavy focus on the AMER GEO. Responsible for driving sales productivity, sales forecasting, sales analytics and modeling, incentive compensation initiatives, and field automation initiatives while working closely with the Sales Executives, WW Operations Leaders, GEO Operations Leaders, and other functional leaders.

  • Develop and execute sustainable Sales strategies which drive incremental bookings and accelerate growth
  • Partner with Sales Management on business planning and strategy for their respective sales areas
  • Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of updates to quotas, headcount and sales plan
  • Setup, maintain, and modify sales territories and provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions
  • Support the preparation of sales quotas and proposals
  • Prepare pipeline analysis and report on win rate, coverage ratio, YoY growth
  • Lead the weekly sales forecast
  • Drive standards of performance at the territory level that is consistent with predefined success criteria for the sales organization, track, and report on these activities on a periodic basis
  • Proactively diagnose the analytical requirements of the sales organizations; design and deliver reporting to meet their requirements
  • Generate metric reports & provide analysis for Sales Management
  • Be a trusted business partner and represent (or be a proxy for) the Sales Leaders on various task forces, projects, and meetings as required
  • Liaise with WW and GEO Teams as a proxy for unique business needs
  • Lead ad hoc / special projects that are aligned with core goals and strategies and have far-reaching impacts on the business
  • Assist in M&A integration activities for VMware tools, systems, and processes as needed

Required Skills:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Sales Finance, or related role
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, strategic/analytical thinker with a “can-do” attitude, flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs and a keen eye for details
  • Experience with the statistical modeling, financial analysis, and dashboard development
  • Excellent and proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects with competing priorities
  • Experience working with SaaS and/or Subscription products
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate through a high-paced and fast-changing work environment
  • Strong communication, executive presence, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Experience in managing a WW team
  • Ability to engage and influence individuals at all levels

  • You have experience in Software, Cloud, or Infrastructure such as Compute, Network, Storage
  • Experience using CRM applications; Salesforce.com or Oracle a plus
  • Experience working for a hardware company is a plus
  • You have sold solutions in an enterprise level company
