Position Summary:

Oversee and lead all sales functions within the division, with a focus on driving growth across all product types and channels. Manage the division's sales team, holding them accountable for performance. Ensure financial success by optimizing the use of sales and operational resources across all Fluoresco locations, leveraging scale and best practices to boost productivity and achieve profitable growth. Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the division's growth and profit goals. Lead new business sales efforts with prospective and existing clients. Ensure the sales team maintains a strong understanding of the company’s products and services and collaborate with various departments to ensure client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead the sales team to meet divisional revenue and profit targets, holding them accountable for achieving goals, objectives, and timely completion of all responsibilities.

· Collaborate with the human resources department to create job descriptions, hire qualified personnel, oversee employee training programs, and develop and implement staff evaluation criteria.

· Establish succession planning within the sales team, ensuring capable management is in place to efficiently handle operations.

· Develop, recommend, and manage sales team compensation programs.

· Organize and lead sales meetings and training programs to ensure the sales team has the necessary knowledge of products, services, and manufacturing facilities to provide value-based solutions to customer needs.

· Periodically travel to various branches, making joint sales calls with the sales team to support their efforts and generate new opportunities.

· Ensure effective communication of client and project information across all levels and branches of the organization.

· Partner with the Executive Vice President and Director of Operations to develop and execute new growth strategies.

· Work closely with the Director of Operations to qualify and pursue client bid opportunities that align with the division's strengths.

· Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and other necessary reports.

· Develop, implement, and execute the annual Sales Operating Plan to achieve divisional goals and support corporate expectations. Oversee the sales team in creating annual territory business plans for their areas of responsibility.

· Develop and manage the annual departmental sales and expense budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost control measures throughout the sales group.

· Define sales processes that drive desired outcomes, identifying and implementing improvements as needed. Establish infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.

· Review pricing proposals submitted to customers to ensure divisional gross margins are met. Collaborate closely with the Executive Vice President to develop pricing strategies that drive sales and year-over-year margin growth.

· Develop and maintain a sales information system to provide insights into customer satisfaction, account executive performance, territory action plans, client status, and competitor analysis.

· Foster strong working relationships with all branches and divisional departments.

· Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity, providing feedback to the leadership team and other relevant company functions.

· Identify and recommend new products, enhancements to existing products, and program developments to the Product Management Team.

· Serve as a member of the division management team, contributing to the development of the annual business plan and the company’s long-term strategic plan.

Educational Requirements / Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, communications and/or a master’s degree in business administration, personnel management or related fields would be preferred.

· Leadership training such as decision making, negotiation, strategic leadership and business analysis.

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales leadership.
  • Proficiency in pricing, forecasting, revenue enhancement, and knowledge of manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex, varied tasks requiring strong business acumen, sound decision-making, interpersonal skills, and the ability to act independently.
  • Experience in a team-driven, continuous improvement environment, ensuring that the customer's voice is prioritized.
  • Skilled in executing complex duties that balance sound business practices with customer needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with a proven track record of driving change and fostering leadership accountability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and various MRP systems.
  • Willingness to travel to client offices, sites, and various Fluoresco branches as needed.

· Strong leadership and organizational skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Demonstrated success in managing the sales process from initiation to completion.

· Exceptional listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Proven ability to clearly articulate the unique aspects of products and services.

· Expertise in developing client-focused, differentiated, and practical solutions.

· Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

· In-depth knowledge of performance evaluation metrics in a business environment.

· Understanding of effective product and service positioning against competitors.

· Ability to inspire enthusiasm and motivation within the team.

· A passionate and creative servant leader who can inspire and uplift others.
