Director, Digital Product Platforms
As Director, Digital Product Platforms, you will help build VF’s next generation of enterprise, product-driven digital thread that facilitates and tracks product creation of footwear, apparel and accessories from concept through production. You will partner with VF’s Digital Technology (DT) team and VF brand teams (across merchandising, design, development, marketing and sourcing) to identify and build the processes, skills and tools required to transform today’s product platforms to a digital asset-fueled platform supporting user-centric modules, enabling 3D design, engineering, digital materials and color.
You will partner with DT architecture and engineering teams to build and maintain a flexible integration architecture that allows each function in the product creation process to use the tools that they are most comfortable and productive with, while leveraging PLM as a foundation for shared data, application logic, and processing. To this end, you will help institute policies and processes that allows VF to quickly evaluate, purchase, and integrate SaaS, mobile, and other targeted applications and data feeds for the enterprise product platform.
This role reports to the Sr Director of Product Platforms and will work closely with the GTM Transformation program leadership and the VF’s apparel and footwear PLM centers of excellence.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Support Sr. Director of Product Platforms in driving the creation and implementation of end-to-end digital product platforms for Footwear, Apparel and Accessories.
Drive development of the PLM roadmap (footwear, apparel, accessories). Direct sequencing and implementation of new PLM modules and integration of user tools.
Manage the Demand Intake process on behalf of the business as projects are approved. Keep the business apprised of progress and manage information needs and barriers to a positive resolution
Oversee the budget for all Digital Product Platforms (DPP) projects working closely with Finance and GTMT leadership, communicate progress in monthly reviews
Manage the bi-weekly product platforms meeting, work cross-functionally to identify, escalate and resolve issues, ensuring the project teams have what they need to drive projects on-budget and on-time
Direct responsibility for the day to day management of the PLM Business Analyst
Develop clear SOPs and governance for product platforms across the VF enterprise. Establish communication protocols and prioritization process for upgrades and new functionality.
Facilitate PLM adoption across the VF enterprise, influencing brand leaders through clear understanding of system capability and business benefit as well as resources and level of change management required.
Establish connections with all product data related work streams and strategic initiatives (i.e. Polaris, Master Data Governance, Sustainability, Supply Chain). Partner on new and changing attribute definition, downstream system feeds and project execution.
Skills for Success:
Bachelor’s degree (MBA is preferred) and 10+ years relevant and progressive experience.
Relevant Experience: 4+ years of experience in a function within the go-to-market process of apparel & footwear brands, plus 4+ years of experience in implementation of PLM or other product creation systems.
Ability to lead through influence and work with diverse counterparts across all levels of the organization.
Ability to build an internal network of relationships at all levels of the organization to drive results Ability to drive change and to influence cross-functional teams at the enterprise and brand level.
Test-and-learn attitude, ability to design fact and logic-based tests to inform critical uncertainties.
Excellent communications and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills and global mindset.

Travel by air and overnight, as required up to 25% of time.

Salary Range:$138,240.00 USD - $207,360.00 USD annually
Annual Incentive Eligibility :
This position is eligible to participate in VF's Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its' Corporate and business level financial objectives.
Long Term Incentive Eligibility :
This position is eligible to be nominated annually to participate in VF’s Executive Long-Term Incentive Plan.
